Salary range is $81K to $170K with a midpoint of $118K. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under direction from the Transportation Safety & Security Manager, implements and assists in completing the transportation safety and security mission. Within an assigned region, this work includes acting as an SME on Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles; physical security protection systems; risk assessment methodologies; and the complexities related to physical security design, implementation, and life-cycle management. Supports projects continuously into operations and interfaces with other agency departments and divisions, local emergency responders, building codes officials, and federal representatives as needed/requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Security Engineering, Business Management, Law, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or closely related field. Five years of progressive experience in physical security that includes conducting threat and vulnerability assessments; developing physical security protection systems; and project management in area of assignment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
