Description

Kforce has a client in Bethesda, MD that is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst. Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support the day-to-day management and optimization of the company's cash position. This role will focus heavily on cash management, liquidity, banking operations, cash forecasting, and daily cash positioning, with an emphasis on ensuring the organization has the appropriate liquidity to meet operational needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily cash positioning across multiple bank accounts and entities
  • Monitor cash balances, inflows, and outflows to ensure adequate liquidity for operational requirements
  • Prepare and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Analyze actual cash activity against forecasts and investigate significant variances
  • Coordinate daily funding and cash transfers between bank accounts and entities
  • Monitor incoming receipts, outgoing payments, ACH activity, wires, checks, and other cash transactions
  • Review and reconcile bank activity and cash accounts to the general ledger
  • Assist with bank account administration, including account openings/closings, authorized signers, and account maintenance
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to understand upcoming cash requirements and expected collections
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reporting for Treasury and Finance leadership
  • Monitor banking fees and transaction activity and identify opportunities to improve cash efficiency
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and assist with resolving banking or transaction issues
  • Support treasury-related projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives
  • Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are maintained around cash management processes
  • Assist with month-end and year-end treasury reporting and reconciliations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of cash management and cash flow forecasting
  • Experience managing or monitoring multiple bank accounts and cash positions
  • Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP and/or treasury management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of financial data and identify trends, discrepancies, and variances
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, AP, AR, FP&A, and external banking partners
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with a Treasury Management System (TMS)
  • Experience with bank portals such as J.P. Morgan Access, Bank of America CashPro, Wells Fargo CEO, or similar platforms
  • Experience with cash positioning, cash forecasting, bank reconciliations, and intercompany funding
  • Experience supporting treasury process improvements, automation, or system implementations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
