Position Title: Senior Typist-Student Services (Boynton)

Brief Description: Act as the secretary to the school's Principal. Lead role in staff attendance, substitute coordination, school budget, BID order, maintenance of calendars, work collaboratively with Associate Principal and other duties that support the function of the Principal's office and main office.

Location(s): Boynton Middle School

Anticipated Start Date: 8/19/2026

Hours per week: 38.5

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible for appointment as a Senior Typist by Civil Service

Civil Service Requirements:

• One year of full-time paid secretarial or clerical experience, or its part-time and/or volunteer equivalent.

• Good knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment; good knowledge of business arithmetic and English; skill in keyboarding at a predetermined rate of speed; ability to plan and supervise the work of others; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to write legibly; ability to successfully work with and serve a diverse local community; good judgment; accuracy; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

Salary Range: $21.44 Based on the 25-26 EA salary grid, a new contract is currently in negotiations
