Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Developer/Architect with expertise in enterprise design systems, WCAG accessibility, and front-end development. The ideal candidate will have experience building design systems from scratch, developing reusable components, ensuring accessibility compliance, and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Develop accessible UI components using HTML, SASS, and Angular.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/AAA and Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Use Storybook for component development and documentation.
• Conduct accessibility reviews, code reviews, and UX assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote accessibility and design best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Enterprise design system development and implementation.
• WCAG 2.1/AAA, ARIA, semantic HTML, and accessibility testing.
• HTML, SASS, Angular, and Storybook.
• Strong UX/UI design principles and communication skills.
• Experience with USWDS or similar enterprise design systems.

Preferred Skills

• .NET, MVC, and SQL.
• Experience supporting backend integrations in enterprise environments.
