Immediate need for a talented Senior UNIX Production Support Engineer (Linux, AutoSys, Shell Scripting, SQL). Pay Range: $45 - $55/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Develop and maintain Korn Shell (KSH) and Shell scripts.
  • Support enterprise batch processing and AutoSys job scheduling.
  • Configure and support FTP, SFTP, Connect, and XCOM file transfers.
  • Perform SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting.
  • Support SAP batch integrations and enterprise applications.
  • Monitor application performance and resolve production incidents.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and network teams.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Participate in production deployments and system configuration.
  • Identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • 5+ years of UNIX/Linux administration
