Senior Upstream Process Engineer - 175493

Responsibilities: of the Senior Upstream Process Engineer include: · Provide day-to-day engineering support for upstream manufacturing processes, ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and consistently. · Lead troubleshooting efforts involving process equipment, control systems, and manufacturing operations, identifying root causes and driving effective resolutions. · Manage and support quality and compliance activities, including investigations, deviations, corrective actions, and change management documentation. · Serve as a technical resource for media preparation, bioreactor, filtration, and harvest systems while collaborating with Maintenance, Automation, and Instrumentation teams. · Monitor critical production activities, assist with process improvements, and support operational readiness during manufacturing campaigns. Qualifications: for the Senior Upstream Process Engineer include: · Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related technical discipline. · 6+ years of process engineering experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biologics, or other regulated manufacturing environments. · Hands-on experience supporting stainless steel bioprocess equipment, including tanks, filtration systems, bioreactors, or related upstream process equipment. · Strong troubleshooting abilities involving process controls, automation systems, temperature control, pH control, dissolved oxygen management, and manufacturing operations. · Experience working with DeltaV or similar distributed control systems, with the ability to collaborate effectively with automation and controls teams.
