Description
Our client, a Commercial Banking company, is looking for a Senior User Interface Designer for their Atlanta, GA/Charlotte, NC/ Raleigh, NC location.
Responsibilities:
Lead design activities within cross-functional teams to document new and exisiting styles/patterns for the One View web product, whoesale design syste, and content guidelines.
Analyze current-state designs and collaborate with UX, UI and content to identify gaps and define new an existign components, patterns and standards.
Design and deliver artifacts for documentation site and the transition of Figma files to a new look and feel.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices with the ability to push beyond to uncover new and distinctive solutions.
Consult and collaborate with talented teams in a supportive, complex environment and develop
an understanding of broader organizational context and goals.
Use storytelling and persuasion techniques that build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships.
Stay current on trends, theories, methods and processes.
Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making
Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards
Excellent time and issue management skills
Experience creating artifacts and executing ideas
Strong ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback
Proficiency in applicable software applications
English language fluency.
Experience creating and maintaining design system documentation or style guides, including component usage guidelines, pattern definitions, and visual standards.
Familiarity with documentation platforms such as Figma Sites, Zero height, or similar tools to publish and maintain living design system guidance for cross-functional teams.
Ability to structure complex design information into clear, consumable documentation for designers, developers, and product partners.
Understanding of how design system documentation supports scalability, consistency, and governance across multiple product teams.
