The City Anticipates needing two (2) full-time persons for this position each working 40 hours shift for a weekly total of 80 hours. For
tabulation purposes, this value is multiplied by 52 weeks for an annual amount of : 4160 hrs.
Description: Oversees the installations, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of mechanical equipment employed in the operation of
water and wastewater treatment plants, well fields, storm stations, pump stations, small engine shops, motor shops, tanks,
and all other divisions of the Public Works Department. Repairs and installs pumps, motors, valves, piping, chemical
equipment, conveyers, presses, screens, gear boxes, facility carts and all other facility machinery and equipment and
performs preventative maintenance and inspections.
