Senior UX Researcher - Wealth Management / Capital Markets

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior UX Researcher - Wealth Management / Capital Markets for their Weehawken Township, NJ/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting User Research: use various research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies, to gather data about user behavior and preferences.
• Evaluating and Reviewing Existing Products: Analyzing the user experience of existing product and services, to identify areas for improvement.
• Analyzing Data: Interpreting data collected from user research, identifying trends, and extracting meaningful insights.
• Communicating Insights: Clearly and concisely presenting research findings to designers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that insights are understood and actionable.
• Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Working closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and other team members to ensure that research findings inform design and development decisions.
• Promoting User-Centered Design: Championing user-centered design principles and ensuring that research findings are used to create positive and inclusive experiences for all users.

Requirements:

• About 7-8 years of expertise/experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis, preferably in Financial/Capital Markets domain.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the importance of putting the user first.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present research findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and Product Managers.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the importance of putting the user first.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.
