Sentara Vascular Specialists is now hiring a Full-Time Senior Vascular Lab Technologist (Medical Sonographer) in Hampton, VA!
Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift, Mon-Fri
Overview
The Senior Vascular Lab Technologist is responsible for performing advanced vascular ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. This role requires expertise in operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment, conducting non-invasive vascular tests, and interpreting preliminary results to support physicians in patient care.
The technologist ensures high-quality imaging, adheres to safety protocols, and maintains accurate patient records. As a senior member of the team, this position will involve mentoring technologists and students. Responsible for contributing to the development of protocols and standards.
Certification/Licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI (Required)
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Cert OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required
