Senior Vice President / Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Senior Vice President / Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and manage their client's operations team in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in operations management and team development. The successful candidate will oversee multiple locations and drive key business metrics to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team across multiple locations, responsible for various functions.
• Coaches and develops the team to ensure they are delivering against key business metrics.
• Utilizes workforce planning methodology for determining appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation to meet or exceed client service level agreements.
• Oversees a large hourly workforce through direct reports responsible for training, development, and retention.
• Creates consensus, resolves disputes, and builds collaborative teams ensuring a culture where employees can grow and thrive.
• Identifies and implements methods to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity, reduce costs, and increase profits.
• Builds relationships with customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders ensuring value-added service and delivery.
• Implements business strategies that align with short- and long-term goals. Monitors performance and makes changes as needed to ensure goals are met.
• Acts as a change agent, implements organization changes, and spearheads new initiatives that move the company forward.

Qualifications

• Education requirement is Bachelor's in BA; advanced degree a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage change effectively.
• Experience in workforce planning and resource allocation.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details

• Salary range is $200,000 to $250,000.
• This is a supervisory position.
