Position Overview
Methods+Mastery is seeking a visionary, growth-minded Senior Vice President, Director of Performance Measurement & Infrastructure to join our leadership team. Reporting to Agency Executive Leadership, you will set the multi-year vision, go-to-market strategy, and overall roadmap for our agency's data, infrastructure, and AI capability suites. That vision includes hiring, developing, and mentoring a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, rigorous quality control, and intellectual curiosity.
In this role, you will lead the strategic expansion of our intelligence offerings, establish practice-wide data governance, and cultivate high-level relationships across Fortune 50 client stakeholders. You will lead, coach, and collaborate with a team of senior analysts and directors to architect solutions for agency-wide innovation across data engineering, modern machine learning models, autonomous agents, and enterprise measurement analytics.

Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Client Leadership & Growth Strategy
● Client Advisory & Growth: Serve as an executive sponsor and primary strategic advisor to Fortune 50 clients, guiding their long-term marketing technology, AI adoption, and data maturity strategies.
● Business Strategy & Development: Drive practice growth by shaping new IP, packaging, and pricing intelligence products, and leading pitch strategies for major enterprise agency proposals.
● Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Methods+Mastery as an industry authority on modern data architecture, AI governance, and social/marketing/communications intelligence trends.
2. Enterprise Architecture, Measurement & AI Innovatio n
● Practice Vision & AI Strategy: Architect the overall vision for agency data capabilities, balancing traditional business intelligence workflows with next-generation machine learning and autonomous AI agents.
● Scalable IP & Offerings: Guide the transformation of bespoke client solutions into proprietary, scalable, and automated agency products and offerings to meet our clients’ critical intelligence needs.
● Measurement Deliverables and Consultation: Act as a client and project lead analyst to develop goals, KPIs, and measurement methodologies, and to deliver a variety of products, including performance reports, cultural/trend analyses, audience profiles, influencer assessments, and other intelligence to inform and drive business objectives and decision making.
● Infrastructure Investment & Partnerships: Direct technical roadmap decisions, vendor alliances, cloud infrastructure investments, and data governance frameworks across the organization.
3. Organizational Leadership & Organizational Growt h
● Department Management: Co-lead and scale the multi-disciplinary Insights & Analytics organization, establishing career pathways and directly managing team members, including VP and Director-level leaders.
● Executive Alignment: Partner seamlessly across Planning, Strategy, Content, Communications, Operations, and Account Management to ensure data infrastructure powers all agency disciplines.
● Culture & Inclusion: Drive an inclusive, high-performing culture that prioritizes psychological safety, continuous learning, and equitable talent development.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
● Experience: 14+ years of experience leading data infrastructure, marketing analytics, or data engineering practices, with significant time spent in senior executive agency or management consulting roles.
● Practice Leadership: Proven track record of growing a multi-million-dollar analytics practice, managing department P&Ls, and scoping large-scale enterprise project-level and annual agreements.
● Executive Presence: Master-level ability to synthesize and present complex technological capabilities (AI, infrastructure, pipelines) into strategic business imperatives for C-level executives.
● Domain Mastery: Deep familiarity with social listening infrastructure, consumer intelligence engines (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker), custom database builds, and modern data stack ecosystems.
● People Leadership: Demonstrated success managing, scaling, and developing multi-tiered analytics and engineering teams (VPs, Directors, Managers).
Nice-to-Haves:
● Executive experience steering enterprise adoption of modern AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, MLOps, Algorithmic Governance/XAI).
● Expertise in enterprise cloud strategies (GCP, AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
● Direct experience leading measurement and analytics technical evaluations, vendor partnerships, or co-development deals.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $160,000-215,000.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
