Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes and leads enterprise-wide sourcing strategy, identifying, evaluating, and approving suppliers that align with organizational objectives for quality, cost efficiency, scalability, and service excellence
  • Partners with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to anticipate business needs and drive strategic procurement initiatives that support growth and operational priorities
  • Develops and oversees negotiation strategies, securing favorable commercial terms, mitigating risk, and delivering measurable cost savings and value creation
  • Aligns procurement strategy with overall business goals (growth, margin, scalability)
  • Builds and maintains strategic supplier partnerships, driving performance through governance frameworks, KPIs, and continuous improvement while proactively resolving escalated issues
  • Provides executive oversight of inventory and materials management strategies to optimize working capital, reduce excess inventory, and ensure supply continuity
  • Champions inventory governance processes, including audit frameworks and compliance standards, to ensure accuracy, accountability, and operational integrity
  • Oversees procurement systems and digital tools (e.g., ERP platforms) to enhance operational efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making capabilities
  • Collaborates with legal, finance, and compliance leadership to structure contracts, mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to regulatory and corporate standards
  • Leads market intelligence and supply risk analysis efforts to inform long-term sourcing strategies and strengthen supply chain resilience
  • Delivers executive-level reporting and insights on procurement performance, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Provides organizational leadership, fostering a high-performance culture and aligning team priorities with broader business objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or equivalent experience required
  • 15+ years of progressive procurement experience
  • Ability to design and execute enterprise-wide sourcing strategies
  • Experience leading transformation initiatives (cost optimization, supplier consolidation, digitalization)
  • Expert-level contract negotiation (pricing models, SLAs, risk-sharing)
  • Deep understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO) and value creation
  • Strong financial acumen (P&L impact, cash flow, working capital)
  • Ability to leverage procurement analytics, market intelligence, and forecasting
  • Experience with spend analysis, cost modeling, and performance dashboards
  • Comfort using ERP and procurement platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Coupa, etc.)
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management
  • Ability to partner with finance, legal, operations, and compliance teams
  • Skilled at influencing without direct authority
  • Understanding of regulatory environments, contract law, and audit requirements
  • Strong governance and internal controls mindset
  • Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes
  • Ability to scale processes across multiple locations or business units

Base Pay Range:

$240,000-260,000/yr

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
