Job Summary

The Senior Vice President, Shared Services is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to all shared services functions, including finance, human resources, information technology, procurement, and other centralized support functions. This role will be in office at our Franklin, TN headquarters. Remote work is not available for this position. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring alignment with the organizations mission and strategic goals. The SVP collaborates with senior leadership to optimize processes and implement best practices that support the organizations growth and operational excellence. Only candidates with previous large scale, multiple function shared services leadership experience will be considered.

Essential Functions

  • Provides strategic direction and leadership for all shared services functions, ensuring efficient and effective support to the organizations operations.
  • Develops and implements best practices, policies, and procedures to standardize processes across shared services functions, driving continuous improvement.
  • Leads and mentors a high-performing leadership team within shared services, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to align shared services strategies with organizational goals, ensuring that support functions enhance overall business performance.
  • Analyzes and monitors performance metrics for shared services functions, using data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Manages relationships with key external partners, including vendors, service providers, and consultants, to ensure high-quality service delivery and contract compliance.
  • Champions technology and innovation initiatives that enhance the efficiency of shared services, including the adoption of new software and process automation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field required.
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field preferred.
  • More than 10 years of experience in leadership roles overseeing shared services functions, with at least five (5) years at the senior leadership level required.

  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with the ability to align shared services with organizational goals.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of finance, human resources, IT, and other shared services functions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with senior leadership and external partners.
