The ideal candidate will possess strong staff development and supervision skills, including the ability to mentor junior-level staff. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
The role requires strong client relationship skills, including experience in preparing and developing proposals, managing client expectations, and delivering engineering projects that meet or exceed client needs. A successful track record in water/wastewater plant and facility design, as well as construction administration and oversight, is critical.
Additionally, the candidate should have experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study
- Masters Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or an MBA
- Secondary certification in WWW Operators License
- BCEE (Board of Certification of Environmental Engineers)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) ENV (Environmental)
- SP (Specialized Professional)
