Senior Web Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern web technologies, software architecture, performance optimization, and mentoring development teams. This role requires close collaboration with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive and scalable web applications.
  • Lead the development of front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Architect and implement robust, secure, and high-performance web solutions.
  • Review code, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and databases.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in web development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and web security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and automated deployments.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring and application analytics tools.
  • Experience leading development teams and technical projects.
