What You'll Be Doing

  • Accurately weigh inbound and outbound hazardous and non-hazardous materials using scale systems and maintain detailed records.
  • Verify and process shipping and receiving documentation in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with drivers, operations, and environmental teams to ensure safe and efficient material handling.
  • Monitor load contents and documentation to identify discrepancies and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain organized logs, reports, and electronic records to support audits and regulatory compliance.

What Are We Looking For

  • Proven ability to manage detailed documentation and data entry with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance related to hazardous materials.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams and with drivers.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Comfort using computer systems, scale software, and standard office applications.

Work Environment

This role operates in an industrial setting with regular interaction at plant scales, outdoor conditions, and truck traffic. The position may require sitting, standing, and working in varying weather conditions while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance.
