Description
Job Title: Senior Workday Integration Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Roles and Responsibilities:
Proven experience implementing and maintaining integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, and Finance modules.
Minimum 8+ years of dedicated Workday integration development experience.
Strong proficiency with Workday integration technologies, including:
Workday Studio
Core Connectors
Cloud Connect
Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
REST and SOAP APIs
Report-as-a-Service (RaaS)
BIRT Reports
Document Transformation (DT
Deep understanding of Workday business processes, security, and data models across functional areas.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex integration issues, optimizing integration performance, and supporting production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy inbound, outbound, and bi-directional integrations between Workday and third-party systems.
Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Web Services.
Develop and support REST/SOAP API integrations and RaaS-based solutions.
Collaborate with functional teams across HCM, Payroll, and Finance to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production integrations to ensure reliability and performance.
Prepare technical specifications, design documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Support Workday releases, enhancements, and integration lifecycle management.
Preferred Skills
Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills.
Experience working in implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
