    Job Description

    Senior Workforce Development Trainer

    What You'll Do

    Onboarding

    • Design onboarding content and duration based on local needs assessments
    • Coordinate materials with Learning & Development and Safety teams
    • Facilitate onboarding sessions on culture, safety, and skills
    • Administer written and hands-on skills assessments

    Skills & Leadership Training

    • Deliver hands-on training modules across classifications
    • Facilitate basic skills training for new industry entrants
    • Coordinate/facilitate app- and software-based leadership training
    • Customize content for local needs; coordinate with external vendors as needed

    General Workforce Development

    • Promote company culture, values, and mission
    • Pursue grant, tuition reimbursement, and continuing education opportunities
    • Track and report training metrics; capture participant feedback via survey
    • Develop new training content and participate in peer content reviews
    • Recommend LinkedIn Learning paths; coach struggling employees
    • Connect field and office teams through joint training
    • May guide WFD Trainers and Associate Trainers
    • Promote a positive community presence

    What You'll Need

    • Training experience preferred; understanding of electrical construction/contracting
    • Strong public speaking, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Experience developing/implementing training programs preferred

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 4–6 years of related experience
    • Union experience, Instructional Design certification, and presentation skills preferred

    Travel: Up to 30%

    Working Conditions

    • Primarily indoor office/jobsite environment; sitting, standing, walking, typing, bending
    • Low-to-medium noise (louder on jobsites); occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
    • ADA-compliant; reasonable accommodations considered
