    Job Summary

    It's an exciting time to be part of IFF's Flavor Quality Control team. In this position, you will provide operations with proper sensory evaluation of both raw and finished products working independently and on a team with other Sensory Evaluators.

    We have the opportunity for a Sensory Advisor passionate in food industry. This position is located in South Brunswick, NJ and is Day Shift. You will be working in production to check our food and flavor qualities to create the best products for our clients.

    Where You'll Make a Difference

    • Evaluating product according to specified taste methods and determining acceptability
    • Managing, preparing, and administering one or more structured customer specific sensory programs. Communicating results and working together with Creative team
    • Recommending continual development opportunities for current processes and subsequently leading research efforts in support of the Quality and Creative groups
    • Maintaining retain and Gold Standard libraries
    • Sensory Evaluation of raw materials and intermediate/finished flavors
    • Performing Analytical testing as needed
    • Customer communication for Shelf Life and Re-certifications
    • Providing technical assistance internally and to external customers

    What Makes You the Right Fit

    • 1 year of experience in a sensory evaluation position, preferably in food

    • Passion for food and flavors

    • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, Science or a similar degree is preferred.

    • You will need to demonstrate attention to detail, customer focus, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    • Communication skills both verbal and written

    • Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
