Sandy’s School is hiring for September! If you are looking for an opportunity to work with children in a small, comfortable, cozy, friendly child care setting then this job would be perfect for you. Sandy’s School is looking for a teacher that can help children grow and develop every day. Being a teacher is such a rewarding career to see how you have made a difference in a child’s life. Sandy’s School is looking for the right person that just loves being with children! We would prefer Early Childhood courses and/or experience but not necessary. We would be very willing to train. About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Monitor and assess children's development and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding child care.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and environments.
