The Position: 

Lake Toxaway at our front door, the North Carolina mountains at our back door. And in between, a gathering place and restaurant for our guests. As a Server at The Greystone Inn, you are providing our guests with fresh, seasonal cuisine. If you are reliable, eager-to-learn, with a friendly/positive attitude, you will be very successful in â€wowâ€ing our guests.

Additional responsibilities include: 

·      Provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel valued 

·      Having a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus, making suggestions and describing dishes to guests

·      Taking orders, delivering food, overseeing table maintenance, and monitoring guest satisfaction

·      Opening and closing responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

·      Be friendly and smiling

·      Good communication skills 

• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities

·      Ability to stand throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.

·      Ability to navigate steps/stairs on a regular basis
