Server Assistant

**Job Summary:**

The Server Assistant at our establishment plays a vital role in supporting the seamless flow of restaurant operations. They work closely with the servers to deliver exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This position goes beyond traditional busser and bar back responsibilities to provide invaluable assistance to the serving team.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with servers to set and maintain dining areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and properly set up.
- Assist servers in delivering food to tables promptly and accurately.
- Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests, paying close attention to detail.
- Support server needs during service, such as refilling drinks, providing additional utensils, and addressing guest requests swiftly.
- Work proactively to anticipate and meet the needs of guests and servers alike.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dining areas.
- Communicate effectively with the serving team to ensure smooth coordination and exceptional customer service.
- Embody the values and culture of our establishment in all interactions with guests and team members.

**Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Post-hire certification in Food Handling and Responsible Beverage Service.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderate loads.
- Demonstrated initiative and a customer-centric approach.
