As Server/ Bartender, you will be responsible for waiting on and serving food to restaurant guests in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. How will you do this? The following are the essential functions and responsibilities of the job: Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers.?
Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce?
May assist kitchen staff by ladling soup, tossing salad, portioning desserts, brewing coffee, and performing other services as determined by needs of the restaurant.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language, proficiently. Ability to speak other languages in a multicultural work environment can be extremely helpful in facilitating good communication among all hotel team members.
GENERAL NOTES - Servers will be required to work varying schedules as dictated by the business needs of the hotel. This includes attendance at all scheduled brand and job specific training sessions and meetings. May require nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality Group must be maintained and is an essential element of the success in this role. If the Server is unable to meet these requirements, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action based on franchisee operating policies, up to and including termination of employment.
