Job Description

Qualifications:  High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Candidates must pass background and drug screening per Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license (Medical Marijuana cards are accepted). Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays—is required.Responsibilities and Duties:Provide excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, delivering items promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, accurately handle payments, and wok collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Greet guests promptly, courteously, and with a positive attitude.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and restaurant services.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders, serving food and drinks professionally and efficiently.
  • Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Clear and reset tables quickly, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Process payments accurately, including handling cash and credit card transactions, and issue receipts.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, bussers, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Address guest complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude, involving a manager when necessary.
  • Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing KGI.
  • Follow all applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
