Server/Cashier

Position Summary

David's Crab Rincon is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Server/Cashier to provide excellent guest service. This position is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and cashier area.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Restock supplies, condiments, and beverages as needed.
• Address customer concerns and notify management of any issues.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.

Compensation

• $8.00 per hour plus tips
• Flexible part-time scheduling.
• Opportunity for additional hours based on business needs.

Schedule

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
