Join our team at Boar's Head Resort and be part of a vibrant dining experience set right on our beautiful golf course. We're looking for a friendly and motivated Server who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great service. In this role, you'll connect with guests, create a welcoming atmosphere, and help make every dining experience memorable. - Follow and satisfy the Resort Service Standards
- Take orders, answer questions about menu items and deliver food and beverages.
- Acquire and practice exceptional menu/wine knowledge and up-selling techniques.
- Maintain Boar's Head Resort standards during service and at all times.
- Closely monitor guest dining experiences and report any issues to Restaurant Manager.
- Follow department opening/closing procedures.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards.
- Create guest checks and payments.
- Attend training sessions and complete training project tasks.
Qualified applicants will meet the following requirements:
- At least 1 year of serving experience.
- Bartending experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to efficiently manage tasks in high-volume environments
- Polite, friendly demeanor.
- Neat, clean appearance.
- Willing to follow rules for sanitary food service.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt, effective service.
- Ability to operate InfoGenesis to enter orders and prepare checks.
- At least 21 years old to prepare alcoholic beverages.
