Your Impact as a Dining Services Team Member

You'll help create warm, welcoming, memorable experiences for residents and guests—because here, mealtime is about community, connection, and care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Bring events to life by assisting with decorations as guided by the Bistro Supervisor.
  • Provide excellent table service using Broadmead's training standards.
  • If age 21+, serve as a bartender during catered events (TIPS training provided annually).
  • Use safe practices when working with kitchen equipment.
  • Help keep event spaces sparkling by completing assigned cleaning tasks.
  • Prepare and arrange small food items during catered functions.
  • Read and understand event "party sheets" to support seamless service.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed—teamwork is key to our community.
  • Follow Broadmead's Code of Conduct with integrity and professionalism.
  • Ensure residents and guests receive high-quality, friendly dining service at all meals.
  • Support the training of new servers in the Holly Terrace, Magnolia Room, and during events.
  • Help create an enjoyable dining experience by maintaining Broadmead's service standards.
  • When hosting, greet residents warmly, remain professional, and promptly communicate concerns to the Manager on Duty.
  • Assist with seating residents in the Holly Terrace dining area.
