801 Chophouse Tyson's Corner is hiring for a Server!


This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) fine dining Server position working in a team-oriented, high-volume / fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink.  Don't miss your chance to join the 801 team at our fine dining steakhouse in Tyson's Corner, Virginia! 


Requirements & Expectations: 

• Minimum of 2 years, but preferably at least 4 years of serving experience in a high-end, fine dining establishment.  
• Advanced knowledge and terminology of beer, wine, and spirits is required. 
• Must be at least 21 years old. 
• Available to work any day of the week, including evenings, weekends and some holidays. *Weekend Availability (Fri/Sat/Sun) Required*
• The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional with a strong sense of hospitality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a true passion for fine service, food and wine. 
• Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and be open to learning new things. 
• Ability to demonstrate hospitality, warmth, and expertise to guests and coworkers in a busy, sometimes fast-paced / high-stress environment.  
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively with both front of the house and back of the house team members in a loud environment. 
• Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is required. 

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: 

• Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
• Ability to maintain balance of food and drink service trays
• Physical ability to frequently lift up to 30lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb and twist

Compensation:  This is a non-exempt position paid a fixed hourly rate, plus tips.  Initial training rate of pay is $15.00 per hour (no tips).  Upon completion of training, Servers are paid the Federal Tip Credit Minimum Wage of $2.13 per hour, plus tips.
