Summary of Position:
As a Server at our establishment, your role is vital to ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests by ensuring their needs are met efficiently and timely while also ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant.Duties and Responsibilities:Greet guests and provide them with exceptional service throughout their mealGuide guests through the menu, including making recommendations and answering questionsTake accurate orders and enter them into our point-of-sale system in a timely mannerDeliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper plate presentation and food temperatureMonitor and anticipate guests’ needs and assist with any requests including refilling drinks, providing additional condiments and utensils as neededRespond appropriately to complaints and bring them to the attention of managementPerform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down tables, cleaning tables and workspaces, and ensuring the restaurant is clean and tidyCollaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure the best possible dining experienceQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent requiredAt least one year of experience in a restaurant serving capacity preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer serviceAbility to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environmentAbility to work on their feet all day and lift up to 40 poundsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements:The Server role is physically demanding and requires the following abilities:Standing for significant periods of timeWalking, lifting, bending, and twisting movementsClear communication, as the role involves taking orders and interacting with guestsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds to move chairs and dining tables and transport orders to guest tablesAs a Server, you are crucial to ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience.
