Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations to maintain a clean and inviting environment
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately at the end of each shift
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum guest flow

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties or food preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
