Job Summary

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is seeking friendly, attentive, and professional servers to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Servers play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere by delivering knowledgeable, efficient, and personalized service.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for hospitality, and takes pride in delivering high-quality guest experiences. Servers will guide guests through menu selections, offer recommendations, and ensure each visit is memorable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience

• Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of food, wine, and specials

• Make recommendations based on guest preferences

• Accurately take food and beverage orders

• Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience

• Process payments accurately using POS system

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas

• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service

• Follow all food safety and alcohol service guidelines

• Assist with opening and closing side work duties

• Support special events, tastings, and busy service periods

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Willingness to learn menu items including wine selections

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of wine or willingness to learn

• Experience using POS systems

• Experience in hospitality or guest service roles

• Ability to provide thoughtful food and wine recommendations
