Waitress Job DescriptionSedalia Huddle HouseLocation: Connected to the Temp-Stop in Lake Lotawana (South Blue Springs, East Lees Summit)Job Summary: HUDDLE HOUSE! The Food Server will be responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers. They will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. Server position will earn $7.50 an hour plus tips (never below $15.00 an hour). Our typical servers make anywhere from $18.00 to $23.00 an hour depending upon server quality. Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers and take their orders
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers and addressing any concerns or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:- Proven work experience as a Server or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math and computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
