Server – Picco 

Servers are responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience through genuine hospitality, attentive service, and a positive attitude. Servers are the face of Picco, building connections with guests while providing knowledgeable, efficient, and memorable service from the moment guests are welcomed until they leave. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Demonstrate hospitality in every interaction with guests, staff, and anyone entering the restaurant.  

• Create a welcoming and positive experience for every guest.  

• Greet guests promptly, warmly, and professionally.  

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, beverages, and daily features.  

• Take accurate food and beverage orders while anticipating guests’ needs.  

• Deliver food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation and quality standards.  

• Check in with guests throughout their visit to ensure satisfaction and address needs proactively.  

• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and management to ensure smooth service.  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and prepared section throughout the shift.  

• Complete side work, opening, and closing duties according to Picco standards.  

• Process payments accurately and responsibly while following cash-handling procedures.  

• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and involve leadership when additional support is needed.  

• Support teammates by running food, clearing tables, resetting sections, and assisting wherever needed.  

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, promotions, and restaurant procedures.  

• Follow all service, safety, and sanitation standards.  

• Contribute to a positive team environment through communication, respect, and accountability. 

Skills & Knowledge  

• Strong hospitality and guest service skills  

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities  

• Knowledge of menu items, beverages, and service standards  

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment  

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy  

• Positive attitude and willingness to support the team  

• Ability to handle guest concerns professionally  

• Basic cash-handling and POS system knowledge
