At St. Johns River Steak & Seafood we are looking for Server with experience (Full Time & Part Time) to provide an excellent guest experience. ServSafe Certification is a plus! We are looking for someone with the ability to work well and collaborate as a team. Someone who is dependable, people oriented, adaptable and flexible while upholding company standards and expectations.
Required Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to memorize menu items, recipes, and food orders
· Being able to engage with the customers to make suggestions and up-sell specials and new items when necessary
· Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently and work well as part of a team
· Be able to lift up to 50lbs and work extended hours without sitting
Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to)
· Provide excellent customer service skills, service, and hospitality
· Greeting customers and ensure the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been properly provided
· Take accurate food and beverage orders and be able to serve and deliver completed order to guests
· Pre-bus and set tables to maintain a clean environment
· Stock and maintain prep items and supplies
· Properly follow protocol when collecting and processing payments for guests
