Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and efficient Ice Cream Server/Cashier to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing sales transactions and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong food handling skills, experience with POS systems, and a passion for creating positive customer experiences. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting ice cream flavors and toppings.
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including cleaning equipment, counters, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards.
• Prepare food items as needed, including scooping ice cream and assembling orders while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Manage customer orders efficiently during busy periods, ensuring timely service without compromising quality.
• Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy environment to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, retail sales, or cashiering is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and kitchen equipment operation.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Experience working in quick service or fast food environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
