Server | Wait Staff (20)

Position Overview

As a Server, you will help create a welcoming dining experience for guests at Asilomar Conference Grounds. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, respond to guest requests, and work with the food and beverage team to provide attentive, efficient service.

This role offers an opportunity to strengthen your customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, attentive service.
  
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate requests to the appropriate team members.
  
• Serve food and beverages promptly and check on guest satisfaction.
  
• Answer menu questions and refer dietary or allergy concerns to the appropriate staff.
  
• Respond to guest requests and help resolve service concerns, involving a supervisor when needed.
  
• Set up, clear, clean, and reset tables and service areas.
  
• Restock service supplies and help prepare dining areas for meals and events.
  
• Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and site procedures.
  
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, fellow servers, and supervisors to support smooth service.
  

• Friendly, guest-focused approach and clear communication skills.
  
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and manage multiple guest requests.
  
• Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  
• Willingness to learn service standards and complete required training.
  
• Previous food service or hospitality experience is helpful.
  

Work Environment

Work takes place in dining and food service areas and may involve extended standing and walking, carrying trays, bending, and reaching. Essential duties may be performed with reasonable accommodation.

Assignment Requirements

Employment and placement are subject to completion of OneSource onboarding, employment eligibility verification, any applicable lawful screening, PeopleScout and Aramark approval, and required orientation and site access steps.

OneSource will confirm the start date and schedule and provide written clearance before the employee reports to the worksite. Assignment length and hours depend on service needs and the approved work order.
