Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Server to join our team! The Server is the face of our restaurant and plays an integral role in our customer’s dining experience. You will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and serve food and drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail. They not only take orders but upsell and suggest items to our guests. They also are friendly and create an experience for our guest to return. We are not interested in order takers. Our servers should be motivated to become bartenders and be team players. We do not tolerate drama, gossiping or laziness. Our servers run food, bus their tables, and keep our establishment guest ready at all times. Our staff is not over managed and is self-motivated. We do not over staff and require attendance and prompt arrival. Sidework and closing duties are not optional. We build a culture of team work and only staff team members who appreciate this and join in!

Responsibilities: 

• Take food and beverage orders from customers
• Answer questions about the menu and preparation
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff (use handhelds)
• Check with customers periodically during their meals to ensure they are satisfied
• Maintain a clean stocked and ready to go environment
• Upsell drinks and desserts
• Provide customers with their checks at the end of the meal and process payment table side

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a server is required (you are welcome to apply as a host and work your way up)
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Toast POS experience preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi task and be self motivated.
