The Communications & Storytelling Systems VISTA will redesign how Common Roots communicates its work to increase participation in food access programs serving low-income households. Common Roots' mission is building a thriving local food system and healthy community through farming and nutrition education for all ages, where every person has equitable access to nourishing food they enjoy. The VISTA will develop systems including website structure, audience segmentation, content calendars, and tools to track engagement and impact. Example deliverables include a redesigned website and communications dashboard. This role will increase participation, awareness, and access to healthy food while reducing barriers. The VISTA will take ownership of building these systems and collaborate with a cohort. This role helps translate complex work into clear, compelling stories that drive action.
