The VISTA volunteer will build organizational capacity at The Montpelier Performing Arts Hub, a nonprofit transforming a historic building into a performing arts center serving Central Vermont. The VISTA will lead partnership development with schools and nonprofits to create pathways into arts programming for low-income families. The VISTA will also strengthen resource development by writing grants and supporting fundraising as The Hub advances its building renovation. The volunteer will develop operational systems including databases, outreach tracking, and evaluation tools to sustain this work beyond their service. By building the infrastructure for equitable access - sliding-scale programming, youth scholarships, and intentional community partnerships - the VISTA will help ensure that income is never a barrier to participation in the performing arts, strengthening economic opportunity and social connection for underserved residents across Washington County.
