Dos Banderas is an independently owned Tex-Mex restaurant in Historic Downtown Garland, serving Garland since 2004. Downtown Garland is exploding with growth in the downtown entertainment district.
We are looking to fill the following positions:
- Lead Bartender / Bar Manager - this isn't a clipboard management position.You'll still work behind the bar but you'll also have a hand in what comes across it. We want someone who loves being behind the bar, understands hospitality, can lead a team and gets excited about building something.
- Bartender - 2+ years experience in craft cocktail, speed, and inventory management
- Server - 1+ years in elevated dining experience ... we are not looking for order takers.
What You'll Do:
Deliver warm, friendly service to every guest
Guide guests through the menu, including food, margaritas, and specials
Maintain strong knowledge of menu items and bar offerings
Accurately take and deliver orders
Serve food and beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails
Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere with a dynamic personality
Work closely with teammates to keep service running smoothly
Process payments accurately and responsibly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Follow all alcohol service, safety, and sanitation guidelines
What We're Looking For:
Dynamic, engaging personality with a passion for hospitality
Team player who supports coworkers and jumps in when needed
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to stay upbeat and professional in a busy environment
Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred, but not required - POS experience, Toast preferred but not required
Must meet legal age requirements and hold (or obtain) TABC & Food Handler certifications
