Servers/Bartenders

Musashi Japanese Fusion is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Server / Bartender to join our team. We are a modern Japanese restaurant focused on high-quality sushi, Japanese cuisine, craft cocktails, sake, wine, and exceptional guest service.

We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate understands that great hospitality goes beyond taking orders it means creating an experience that makes guests want to return.

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to every guest
  
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, sake, and other beverages
  
• Develop strong knowledge of our sushi, Japanese cuisine, sake, wine, cocktails, and menu specials
  
• Make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
  
• Properly course meals and communicate with the kitchen and sushi bar to ensure smooth service
  
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs without guests having to ask
  
• Handle POS transactions and guest payments accurately
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service area
  
• Follow all alcohol-service, food-safety, and sanitation requirements
  
• Assist teammates during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment
  
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
  
• Help create the high level of hospitality and consistency expected at Musashi
  

• Previous serving or bartending experience strongly preferred
  
• Japanese restaurant, sushi, upscale-casual, or fine-dining experience is a major plus
  
• Bartending and cocktail knowledge preferred
  
• Knowledge of sake, wine, Japanese whisky, and spirits is a plus
  
• Strong communication and guest-service skills
  
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
  
• Dependable and punctual
  
• Able to multitask and remain composed during high-volume service
  
• Must work well as part of a team
  
• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  
• Must meet all Texas requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
