Servers / Shift Lead

*** Mandarin fluency is a plus. This role involves collaborating closely with our kitchen team to coordinate special customer requests and dietary accommodations.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
  
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
  
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations
  
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
  
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas efficiently, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
  

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
  
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction
  
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cash handling
  
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
  
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
  
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing attentive guest services
  
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly valued; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
  
• Basic math skills for billing accuracy and cash handling procedures
  
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow
