Job Description
Minimum
1 2 years of restaurant serving experience preferred
Indian restaurant or Indian food knowledge strongly preferred
Good knowledge of basic Indian dishes, spice levels and vegetarian/non-vegetarian options
Comfortable explaining menu items and making recommendations to guests
Experience using a restaurant POS system
Able to handle multiple tables during busy dinner and weekend service
Strong communication and guest-service skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Must work well with food runners, bussers, bartenders, kitchen staff and management
Must be dependable and arrive on time
Must be available for
weekends and busy restaurant shifts
