What You’ll Do
At Denny’s, our Servers create the experience—not just deliver the food.
- Welcome every guest with energy and set the tone for a great visit
- Take accurate orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen
- Deliver food and drinks quickly, correctly, and with attention to detail
- Guide guests through the menu with confident recommendations and suggestions
- Use smart upselling to highlight specials, combos, and guest favorites
- Ask the right questions to enhance the experience and increase check average
- Introduce guests to the Denny’s Rewards Program and its benefits
- Keep the dining area clean, organized, and ready for the next guest
- Process payments efficiently (cash, card, digital)
- Work as part of a team with both FOH and BOH to keep service running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Server, Waiter/Waitress, or in a guest-facing role preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence engaging with guests, making recommendations, and upselling
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must be 18+ with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
