Responsibilities
Welcome customers into the service drive and make sure they feel heard from the moment they arrive.
Listen carefully to concerns about their vehicles and gather the right details for accurate repair orders.
Communicate recommended services, timelines, and repair updates in a clear and friendly way.
Work closely with technicians to keep repair information accurate and moving without unnecessary delays.
Prepare estimates, review approved work, and help customers understand their options.
Keep customers updated throughout the service process so they know what to expect.
Handle questions about maintenance, repairs, pricing, and warranty coverage with patience and professionalism.
Support a smooth, positive service experience that encourages customers to return again and again.
Previous experience in an automotive service advisor, service writer, or customer-facing dealership role.
Strong communication skills for talking with customers, technicians, and parts staff clearly and professionally.
Ability to explain vehicle repairs, maintenance needs, and recommendations in simple, honest terms.
Organized approach to scheduling, repair orders, estimates, and follow-up details.
Comfort using dealership software, service systems, and standard office tools.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to work on-site in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Knowledge of automotive repair processes, vehicle maintenance, and warranty procedures, preferred.
Experience building trust with customers through respectful, helpful service, preferred.
