Service Advisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  - Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments based on shop capacity.
  - Write purchase orders as needed for internal repair orders and sublets.
  - Provide a clear path to repair so the customer understands the process.
  - Communicate directly with the technicians and parts department regarding repair status daily, and provide regular      updates to the customer.
  - Submit all extended warranty claims correctly and ensure proper documentation for reimbursement

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Once available prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts send video and MPI to customer via Xtime
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers and verify they received the MPI and Video.
• Walk Guest to vehicle and verify the service experience was exceptional

REQUIREMENTS:

• Are a fast learner
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Are a team player
• Are computer literate
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Proven record of achieving exceptional Customer Satisfaction
• Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant is a must
• Above average energy level
• A desire for a long term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity
• Dealertrack and Xtime DMS experience a plus
