Modern Nissan of Concord is looking for an experienced and motivated Service Advisor to join our growing service team. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships with customers, and helping drive a successful service department.
Our Service Advisors play a key role in the customer experience by communicating repair needs, recommending maintenance and services, and working closely with technicians to ensure vehicles are serviced properly and efficiently.
With a $50 daily base salary plus commission, successful Service Advisors have the opportunity to earn $60,000–$120,000 annually based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming service experience
- Consult with customers regarding vehicle maintenance and repair needs
- Write accurate repair orders based on customer concerns and technician recommendations
- Recommend maintenance and repairs based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle needs
- Communicate repair estimates, timelines, and recommendations clearly to customers
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Work closely with technicians and service management to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
- Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed of any changes
- Review completed repairs with customers and explain work performed
- Maintain strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business
- Follow up with customers regarding recommended services and future maintenance
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow dealership processes and procedures
- Work toward individual and department sales and customer satisfaction goals
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred
- Automotive dealership experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain automotive repairs and maintenance in an easy-to-understand manner
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Nissan experience is a plus, but not required
