DeVivo Companies is currently hiring for a full time Service Advisor at our Thermo King Northeast operation in Saugus, MA!
- Hourly Pay Range: $26-35/hr
- Pay Rate is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and serve as a primary point of contact throughout the repair process.
- Answer customer calls, identify service needs, and coordinate vehicles and equipment into the shop.
- Create and maintain accurate repair orders, including customer concerns, requested repairs, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare repair estimates and obtain customer authorization for work and changes in repair scope.
- Keep customers informed of repair status, cost changes, and expected completion times.
- Work closely with the Service Manager and technicians to prioritize and schedule work.
- Coordinate with Parts to ensure required parts are identified and available to keep repairs moving.
- Monitor open repair orders and follow up on jobs to help reduce delays and vehicle downtime.
- Review completed repair orders for accuracy and prepare work for timely customer invoicing.
- Assist with customer questions and concerns and help resolve issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and support warranty documentation when required.
- Maintain a professional, organized, clean, and safe work environment.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- 2+ years of Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar experience in an automotive, truck, fleet, or equipment service environment.
- Experience preparing repair estimates and working with repair orders.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple jobs in a fast paced environment.
- Comfortable working with technicians, Parts personnel, customers, and management.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and internet-based applications.
- Commercial truck, transport refrigeration, diesel, fleet, or dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work additional hours when business needs require.
