We are a family-owned European automotive repair shop in San Antonio looking for an experienced
Service Advisor / Shop Manager who can lead the team, take care of customers, and help grow the business.
This is not just a service-writing position. We are looking for someone with proven experience in an independent automotive repair shop who can manage day-to-day operations, develop employees, increase sales, and create a great customer experience.
What You Will Do
- Manage the daily shop workflow and schedule
- Lead and develop technicians and our junior Service Advisor
- Build and present repair estimates
- Manage customer expectations and communicate repair progress
- Order parts and coordinate vendors
- Review inspections and technician recommendations
- Follow up on pending and declined work
- Keep technicians productive and work moving efficiently
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Help grow sales while maintaining trust and quality
- Use Tekmetric for estimates, workflow, communication, scheduling, and reporting
What We Are Looking For
- Several years of successful Service Advisor experience in an independent automotive repair shop
- Previous leadership or shop-management experience
- Strong understanding of automotive repair estimating and parts
- Experience managing people and holding a team accountable
- Strong customer communication and sales skills
- Familiarity with Tekmetric strongly preferred
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Valid Texas driver’s license. Must be located in the area.
- Proven record of helping grow a shop or service department

Compensation
- $80,000 base salary
- 2% commission on total shop sales
- Expected first-year compensation of $100,000+
- Uncapped earning potential as the shop grows
